The story so far: Pirate Rake deposited some of his treasure in a safe place. Office Ratty happened along and found it. He resolved to keep it safe. He invested a small bit of it in a brightly coloured piece of cardboard. He won some more treasure than what he had invested.
Scratching the cardboard had been much more fun than office work. Ratty decide to do it again.

This time he exchanged more bits of treasure for more bits of cardboard. He scratched and scritched and he scribbled. All he had to do was to find Numberery Things on the cards that looked just like other numbers thingys on the cards. Too easy.

After a lot of scratching, he had uncovered many numbery thingys but not one looked like any of the others. How puzzling. Why weren’t the other ones there? Obviously this bit of cardboard was a dud. Humph. Never mind, he would simply go and get another one. They couldn’t all be duds. Soon he would increase his wise investments.

Ratty collected more treasure from the treasure chest and took them to the shop that exchanged treasure for bits of coloured cardboard. He bought more bits of cardboard. He bought a lot of them in fact because he wanted to be quite sure this time that his wise investment would bring results. This required a lot of the treasure, but Ratty didn’t mind. He was certain he would bring back even more treasure afterwards. The mysterious owner of the treasure trove that Ratty was now investing wisely would be so pleased.

What will happen with Office Ratty’s investments? Don’t miss the next exciting episode of OfficeRatty finds treasure.
