In Mawson Bear’s new book, we first see each of the bears sitting all alone. They don’t talk to each other, they barely notice each other. They are lost in their own thoughts. It’s as if they are each sitting on their own island, apart from everyone. Mawson worries about them.
Lizbeth’s island is constructed from a pile of books. She endlessly reads romances, seeking to absorb all she can about love and romance
But finding romance is not easy when you are sitting all by yourself on an island of books. Will something ever happen to help Lizbeth change her fate.
