Hello Fellow Baffled Ones. We are the Professors Bears in Mawson’s House. We feature in Mawson’s book, Dreamy Days and Random Naps. I am Professor Caddy, and I love chocolate. Also, I love large dreams, grand ideas, big ponders, plump possibilities, and incredible inventions. We have high hopes that our inventions will help all our friends one day, umm, when we get them right. And here with me is Professor Bree. She loves making things. The more amazing they are the more she likes to make them.

Here you see me and Bree with some of our favourite things. I am wearing my spectacles and holding my magnifying glass. These help me to sound very wise and Professor-ly when I am explaining our amazing inventions and grand ideas. Prof. Bree keeps around her some of her plans and blue prints and clever things she is making. She always says ‘Safety first!’ and is wearing her eye protectors.

You can see us in the other books by our grand friend, Mawson too. In the first one, called It’s A Bright World To Feel Lost In , I, Prof Caddy, study a mirror. Mirrors are fascinating and we will probably invent something with mirrors in it. In When a Brave Bear Fights Cancer, by Carola Schmidt and illustrated by us bears, I play the role of Dr Caddy and Bree plays the role of Nurse Bree. Here is what the books look like.

And now, in Dreamy Days and Random Naps you can see us inventing wondrous things. We have high hopes that everyone will want our amazing inventions.
