Behind the Scenes: Choosing hats for She Ran Away From Love, by Mawson

Fellow Baffled Ones,  In my book about going on a Quest called, She Ran Away From Love, the heroine, Frilly, insists on taking with her a selection of hats. So the Wardrobe Bears asked her to try on hats.

I’ve asked about these ‘Bears of the Wardrobe’. Apparently, it does not mean that my fellow bears have wandered into Narnia. (Wouldn’t that have been exciting. ) ‘Wardrobe’ is the job that Scarf Bear and Bonnet Bear are doing. They are dressing up Frilly for her scenes in She Ran Away From Love. Now they are deciding about the right hats.

You can see which hats Frilly ended up choosing chose by looking at the book. She squeezes all the hats she is not wearing into her magical explorer bag. If you like pink bags and pinkish bears and hats then this is going to be a favourite book for you!
