Hello Fellow Baffled Ones. My name is Scotland the Brave. I was the first bear to arrive in Mawson’s house after Mawson. My job was to sit in the microwave oven and get warm and then get close to people and make them feel comfortable. Mawson was amazed I went into the oven. ‘You are so brave’, he said. ‘And I wear trews’, I said proudly. So I became Scotland the Brave. After a while everyone worried about me being in the microwave so I stopped and now I am brave in all kinds of other ways. I also deliver the post.

Here’s me with my favourite things. My postie hat and post box and my trusty truck.
You can see me in all the books by my grand friend, Mawson. One is called It’s A Bright World To Feel Lost In (in that one I deliver the post) and the Mawson’s next book is She Ran Away From Love (I deliver the post again.)
In Dreamy Days and Random Naps you can see me imagining more ways to be brave (between naps). I’m also going to be in two more books. Mawson says we’ll tell you all about those later.
Mawson’s Guardian says: Thank you, Scottie. And now a word about where to see more of our bravest bear and occasional postie. Dreamy Days and Random Naps is at Amazon everywhere, including at Amazon India, and at Amazon Australia (where Mawson Lives).
If you would like to not use Amazon, its at BookDepository, at Barnes and Noble, at Dymocks, at Booktopia, and soon to be at more.
You have wandered into Mawson Bear’s web-den. Mawson is a Ponderer of Baffling Things (between naps) and the Writer-Bear of It’s A Bright World To Feel Lost In and She Ran Away From Love.
‘This little story made me well up. A lovely, poignant story with delightful illustrations.’ Jackie Law, Amazon Top 500 reviewer, about It’s A Bright World To Feel Lost in.
